Financing Christian Education

RCS makes effort to assist Christian parents in providing their children with a Christ-centered education. It is our goal to see that no child from a Christian home is denied a Christian education due to financial difficulties. Parents should never rule out Christian education because of the financial costs!

Tuition Payment Schedule

To assist parents in making their tuition payments, the school offers several tuition payment plans.
12 monthly payments – July thru June
10 monthly payments – August thru May
2 monthly payments – September & January

Multiple Child Discounts

Families with multiple children will pay full tuition for the first child and then receive a discount on tuition of each additional child enrolled.
First Child – Full Tuition
Second Child – 10% discount
Third Child – 20% discount
Fourth Child – 30% discount
Fifth Child – 40% discount

T.R.I.P.

The Tuition Reduction Incentive Program is offered to assist parents in financing their child’s Christian education. By making purchases of food, clothing, gasoline and other items at stores that are in this program, parents receive a percent of the purchase applied to their tuition bill. You don’t have to buy anything extra. You don’t have to pay a penny more. You can make your purchases whenever you like. There is no minimum amount that you need to buy.
Even if your child is not presently enrolled in Ringwood Christian School, you can begin now and your account will be credited when you enroll. In addition, other family members and friends can participate in TRIP and have their credit applied to your account.

Scholarship Assistance

The Tuition Assistance Fund was established by the Board of Education and is administered by the Tuition Aid Committee. This fund is sustained by individual donations.
Applications for aid are submitted by the parent to an outside, independent agency contracted with the school. The first deadline for applications is April 15 and the second deadline is July 1. The Tuition Assistance Committee then receives a report from this agency and a determination will be made regarding the extent of aid to be extended. Tuition assistance may help defray up to 25% of the annual cost of Christian education.

Many churches provide financial assistance to families who are providing their children with Christian education.

Transportation Reimbursement

Several districts in New Jersey do not provide transportation for students attending Ringwood Christian School. In exchange for the transportation, parents receive approximately $884 per child in exchange for the transportation. Payment is made to the parents in two installments. The first is in January and the second in June.
